The night of Lithuania, Greece and Spain

The last night in Sandanski was full of experiences because participants got to know more about themselves through a short presentation, interesting facts about the countries and foods and drinks. Groups from Lithuania, Greece and Spain were presenters of the night.

The first presentation was made by participants from Lithuania which informed us about their country in a witty and humurous way by showing video about misleading stereotypes about it. The show continued with the Lithuanian song which was performed acoustically by the band Will’n’ska . At the end of the presentation we were ready to taste the traditional Lithuanian “goodies” and looking forward to the following presentation from Greece.

The International Evening continued with Hellas who revealed us some secrets about their towns, islands and their impressive history and ancient culture. Moreover, traditional music Zorba and the Syrtaki dance were pesented and of course all willing to learn the dance were encouraged to do that. Immediatelly, after the dance the time to try traditional cuisine was perfect. Therefore, we tried sweet oranges in syrop, tsipouro and other Greek dishes.

The last but not least were Spanish team which mainly presented the Canary Island paradise which involved their cities, local food and the natural beauty. Afterwards the show went on with an Eurovision song which is Chiki Chiki. After three amusing presentations people got to try some traditional cuisine.

Music, food and a little bit of entetainment is a perfect way of getting to know more about other countires and their people. The evening was successful for the performers and rich for audience because of such amount of new experiences.
